“I liked the atmosphere and the ambience. There were very helpful and friendly staff; especially the reception lady who gave us directions to get from Kyoto to Osaka, and helped us made a booking for a Japanese restaurant as we didn’t know Japanese - we’d like to thank her so much!”
“CD in the room. Location. Staff spoke excellent English. Wooden bath. Kitchen area.”
“I like this hotel very much. Definitely will come back again.”
“The personnel at the reception desk were extremely friendly, went out of their way to ensure I would arrive at the hotel before the taifun hit (sent me personal messages to ensure I would take the taxi from the train station before the winds got too strong). Perfect location - I was able to see maikos (apprentice geishas) in the morning going to school. Very nice room with separate Japanese-style sitting area.”
“They are very accommodating even when i made changes in my booking, they still accommodated my request.”
“The location was premium. It's close to Hanamikoji and Shijo dori. Close to tons of restaurants, shopping and attractions. We traveled by car, there is no parking facility on site but the hotel was able to make a reservation for us in a nearby parking lot (about 250m away). The rooms are on the small side, but it has everything we need. The bathroom is good size and well equipped. The balcony is definitely an add. We had breakfast there. Overall a great place to stay in Kyoto.”
“Suggest to add sofa in the lobby and friendly staffs.”
“The bathtub was amazing - wonderful scent and heated floors. The beds were comfortable, and my husband enjoyed his coffee on the patio. The staff was polite.”
“Room atmosphere is so relaxing and spectacular with excellent location at a traditional area. The staff is very helpful.”
“A beautiful hotel . Great location. Wonderful experience.”
