- Please note that the centre of Hallstatt is a car-free zone. You need to park your car on the P1 parking outside the town, which can be reached through a tunnel. Additional costs apply (please see Parking Facilities).<br><br>A shuttle service to the hotel on arrival and departure is available free of charge.<br><br>Please note that it cannot be guaranteed in which of the 3 historic buildings you will be accommodated, because requests for a specific building are subject to availability. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler have no lift. They are a 3- to 5-minute walk away from the main building, where the breakfast room and other facilities can be found.<br><br>Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed in guestrooms. A penalty fee of EUR 60 per incident will be charged.

“Hallstatt is so beautiful. This hotel is right at the end of the main 'street' and has a lovely restaurant on site. We had a great breakfast. We got a shuttle bus from the car park straight to the hotel. The rooms were fair sized and comfortable. We had a view of the lake from one room.”

“Hallstatt is a gorgeous town and the Heritage Hotel is very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the hotel, which was very clean, comfortable and had a fantastic location. We stayed in the main building and had a lake front room with a balcony with a wonderful view of the lake and Hallstatt. Visit to the nearby salt mine and Berchtesgaden (Eagle's Nest) and driving around the Austrian countryside & mountains are a must!”
