“We booked a club room in advance for two stays - one before and one after our cruise. We arrived early. Although our room was ready, we would have to pay £40 for the privilege of using it early! I was not impressed. I argued and they agreed to relent . The room was disappointing. Not in our opinion a club room! We asked to be moved...no rooms available! Not a happy bunny but hay. Went to club house. Breakfast was minimal. Manager and staff friendly. That evening we went in a bit early for pre-dinner drinks. Wine was readily available, but there was no drinks menu! Eventually , I requested a whisky. However, the clubhouse filled up so much that it became frankly, uncomfortable and noisy! Not the sanctuary we had paid for at all. In fact they had overbooked and as a result they were turning people saY from the clubhouse!!! The food on offer was very sparse. Not much choice at all. But for the fact we had prebooked, there is no way I would have stayed at this hotel again! However, the second visit was a different matter. We were put on a club floor. The room was a club room and the club house was not at all full. A completely different experience. My advice to you: If staying in a club room , request the 25th floor. My advice to the hotel: upgrade your clubhouse. It looks knackered! Think about your food menu. Have a drinks menu on the tables. Don't overbook the club!”

“I love staying at a Hilton hotel. Their make it right policy is so well implemented across all levels of the staffing so you never feel that you can't ask for something or have something changed. This hotel was no different and it had a few extra services that I did not expect like being met at the hotel entrance by a valet. Great location and really nice rooms.”
