“I've stayed in quite a few hotels, all stars. Got to book in early and was offered breakfast. Reception staff very friendly. Room quiet and the hotel seemed peaceful. Evening meal lovely, sent compliments to the chef (had the salmon), dining area in reception equals a cosy, safe atmosphere. When I arrived I didn't like the room, they gladly/in fact insisted I changed my room when I said I didn't feel comfortable in family room with a connecting door. Very friendly and polite staff. Very very busy in Stratford city centre, even at 7pm. Although, when I asked, one stall holder in the old shopping centre, he said to make sure inside before 9pm to be safe. Polish sports and other sporty people/teams were staying at the hotel. Breakfast good selection hot/cold British and continental. Very busy hotel. Within walking distance of Stratford Tube/bus station and the Westfield centre, dlr to excel across the road from hotel. Hotel on a main road but very quiet, was in a room at the front, room had very powerful shower, wonderful after a long, busy day. Overall, good, convenient and friendly hotel. Hotel 5/10 mins from Westfield and Stratford shopping centres. National express coaches from Victoria stops at the stratford bus/tube station/ Dlr to Stratford international train station. Everything convienently placed. Could see olympic park from hotel.”
