“Our family stay here was very enjoyable. We liked being away from Canal Park, but close enough to get anywhere in Duluth rather quickly. The hotel was built a little over a year so it felt like brand new. The rooms were very spacious, beds comfortable, and the breakfast hit the spot for our family. All of the staff were very accomadating. We even were able to walk to DQ and then enjoyed our dessert on their beautiful outdoor patio with a propane fire pit.”

“The hotel is very new and looks awesome. The beds, pillows & linens are fabulous. Our room was quite large & it included a very comfortable lounge sofa with a table to sit with your feet up, have a drink & relax after a long drive. There is a large window with a very nice roller shade blind as well as a room darkening blind. Awesome walk in shower. A nice touch was the long shelf between the desk & the closet to place things on instead of putting things on the floor. Can't say enough about how wonderful our room was. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was also very well done.”

“The building was brand new & had a "brand new smell" about it. The breakfast was fine with several choices. The staff was friendly, both at night when we checked in & in the morning when we checked out. Even though we were checking in at 10 PM, we were able to park right in front of the main door. Jessica tried her best to give us the lowest possible rate for the night, since we were only going to be there for eleven hours. Plus I got a fee newspaper the next morning.”

“I liked everything there the beds were comfy the room was really nice and the morning person was really nice it felt like home it was overall a good place to stay I like staying in holiday expresses would stay again and I would recommend anyone to stay there too:)”

“The bed was awesome and loved the pillows. I like lime green and orange and there was a orange footstool and the back of the desk chair was lime green. At first I didn't care much for the extreme contemporary style, but it grew on me. The breakfast Monday morning, the day we were leaving,wasn't very good. The eggs got a little hard from sitting there which may have been a while because we didn't get down to eat until 9 am. The pancake machine wasn't working all that well. The rest of the stay was great! The place is only 6 months old.”
