“Bakersfield has quite a high crime rate and that was the reason why we chose this very hotel - it is situated in an affluent, clean and safe part of Bakersfield and we didn't mind to pay extra for the night. We had one positive suprise - there was a free breakfast in the description when we booked, but the hotel gave us also a complimentary dinner. The food was quite delicious, definitelly much better than the average US food we've met on our honeymoon trip. Both breakfast and dinner were served in a buffet style. The pool is small but nice and clean, locked, so that only hotel guests can get in. We've enjoyed it as we were the only 2 people who were in the pool at that moment. The room was spacious, there was even kitchen in it.”
