“I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for a week. This is a charming hospedaje, the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My room was spotless on arrival and cleaned daily. Bed was comfortable, shower was very hot. Wifi was excellent during my stay. The location is just far enough from the centre that you can relax and yet still be close enough to walk to the shops/restaurants. Yes, there is a hill on the way back but it's downhill on the way into town! The photos suggest it is in the middle of nowhere, it's not. It's perfectly situated just outside the centre of town (10min walk). This was great value for money with breakfast included - highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Lady who runs this hostel friendly and helpful. Took us to bus station saving a taxi journey. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms. Location 10 minutes downhill walk to centre on Banos. $1.50 taxi fare back! One of hot water baths 5 minutes walk. Great value for money.”

“Very warm, welcoming family run hotel where you will feel right at home. The hotel was out of the main commercial area which made it quiet in the evenings. The distance was walkable from town but also a very affordable taxi ride, $1.50. Breakfasts were more than enough and always cooked up and served by Blanco with a smile and genuine concern that you were well taken care of.”

“it was a perfect stay! we had a very warm welcome, the family is so nice and helpful, they booked all activities ( rafting etc.) for us.:) The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit juice every day! Very nice roomes, comfortable beds, nice garden view and a quiet neighborhood---> awesome place for a nice holiday.”

“Blanca, her husband and the rest of the crew were really helpful and friendly. I was sick during my stay in Banos and Blanca made sure that I was comfortable during my stay. The room rate included a good sized breakfast to fill you up in the morning. Quiet location about 10-15 minutes walk away from the central area which is okay when it is not raining. Her husband also dropped me off at the bus terminal early in the morning when I had to catch a 6am bus. It was very much appreciated!”
