“Very quiet room with a view of Hohenklingen Castle (rm 223). Hotel faces directly onto the main sq. / Rathausplatz, and yet rooms set back, very comfortable, very clean (almost Spartan, but perfect for our needs). Well-behaved dogs cost additional 15 CHF a night and are allowed in the breakfasting room to lay silently under the table and out of sight (which is awesome! Thanks so much!). Have to walk about 2 blocks for doggie toilet area (near Friedhof). Staff friendly (properly friendly, not just Swiss-friendly, which is the same as business-like and 'efficient', if you catch my drift). Breakfast modest but was INCLUDED, which is so important! We would certainly stay here again - no frills, but had everything we needed. Elevator beside reception desk, too - very easy to get to room.”
