“Rustic hotel in the mountains with very friendly staff! Although there is a public bus available, I'd recommend having a car to get to this location. They have free parking onsite. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the hotel (we didn't see any other options nearby, fyi). The food was a little pricey (~ 20 euros), but delicious. The decor in the restaurant is fun and welcoming. Wifi worked well. The hotel accepted credit cards. We would definitely stay here again.”
“Breakfast and evening meal were good. This is an older building. Speaking in English was a little difficult, but they were very helpful. Private bathroom would be better choice if available, although I can't comment on what they are like.”

“- Awesome hosts of this guesthouse, lovely, helping and wonderful charming! - The house is build in an old, wooden farmhouse way and everything looks just beautiful if you like this architecture - Coming to Saxeten ist interesting, as you go up pretty high by car (or Postbus is also driving there) and you have the feeling there is no need to hike some mountains afterwards because you almost reached the peek - instead the little village is surrounded by mountains, although being much higher than Interlaken”

“After seeing so many chalets in Switzerland, we finally got to stay in one! The owners were a lovely couple who were very attentive and accommodating. The first night we arrived 30 minutes after their restaurant closed (the restaurant closes at 9 pm), but they still let us order some food for dinner. Our room didn't come with a private bathroom, but it wasn't inconvenient at all. During our two-night stay there we had never seen anyone else using the common toilet or shower room. The chalet is very nicely decorated. We couldn't help taking many pictures in and outside of the chalet. The breakfast was decent. We believe this hotel is a very good value for money in the Interlaken area, provided that you have a car.”
