“We were walking on the Camino de Santiago and this hotel was right on the route. It was a bit dearer than we usually pay, but there wasn't much choice. It was quite a smart place. We noticed that other people had nice rooms with balconies, but ours didn't. We had dinner included in the price and it was nicely served in the dining room, but the food was fairly ordinary.”

“This place offered the best Pilgrim menu and food that we had on our entire Camino. We were all Pilgrims, but they treated us like we were in a 5 star restaurant. The postre of chocolate mousse with the chocolate sauce drizzle was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. I'm glad all I had to do was go upstairs and flop on the bed at the end---I was full of chocolate and red wine, and very happy.”

“The overall facilities were wonderful. The room we had walked out onto a very nice balcony overlooking the streets below. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The food in the dining room was great. We ordered different pilgrim meals and they were all great and the waitress service was top notch. If you are making a reservation I would suggest you try to get one of the 3 balcony rooms they have. Great value!!!”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was wonderful - we had our own balcony! - and though the restaurant was open we chose to eat in the bar as there were very few people in. The food was good, the breakfast varied and the whole place looks clean and inviting. Also perfectly situated between Villafranca and O Cebreiro, we really appreciated the rest after the Pradela route!”
