“Excellent location: close to city center and right next to a bridge with exceptional Matterhorn view. You can also relax at the spa.”
“Excellent location, a 15-minute level walk from the train station through the center of town, turn left at the church. Can't miss it. Lots of dining choices within easy walking (Zermatt is pretty compact). My single room was a good size (i.e., I could open the suitcase and not have to stumble over it), as was the bathroom. Good room temp, good water pressure and temp in the bathroom, good Wi-Fi reception in the room. Elevator to all floors. Some noise from adjoining rooms, though not all night long; consider bringing earplugs, just in case. Correct, helpful front-counter staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was varied -- breads, chesses, cold meats, variety of cereals, yogurt, canned and fresh fruit, juices, coffee and tea.”
“I am always given a double room with a balcony and views over the village and surrounding mountains. This year I had a room on the top floor which had lovely old wooden furniture and various pieces of memorabilia in it.”
