“The hotel was very contemporary and the room was modern and comfortable. We had a nice balcony with a great view of the waterfront! Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast was great.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff, close to the centre of Santander. Interesting parking arrangements! ”
“The hotel is perfect. Well located in a quiet place and close distance to the centre. Very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic stay”
“Superbly clean and fitted out for a hotel at this budget. Rooms are scrupulously clean and the bed superbly comfortable. The hotel is high up a steep hill so unless you're super fit, use a taxi to get back up from the town centre. ( €5 Euro should be enough). Also secure parking ( no charge) and nice helpful young man at reception Alternative to taxi .... get a map from reception. Then, going on foot _ turn left out of hotel door, then turn first right and walk down to promenade along 'Lope de Vega. When coming back from town centre, get yourself to the small 'Plaza Rio de la Pila. Then you walk up street of the same name to the mechanical walkways and get to the funicular that gets you up to the football pitch at the top. From there walk DOWN to the hotel. Should only take 15 or 20 minutes to get back up using this easy route.”
“Very modern and interesting design. Whole range on the breakfast, very nice dining room, friendly staff. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Good located - walking distance to every attraction in the city.”
“A lovely quirky hotel, large bed, large room overlooking the sea, reported heated towel rail not working, by the time we got back....it was”
“Comfy bed and good pillows. Great shower. Room and bathroom were spotless. Friendly helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast.”
“Comfortable room and sea view location. The "James Bond" style garage - drive into a garage sized lift then down to the basement ! Cafeteria for breakfast was excellent.”
“Wonderful large balcony overlooking the port. Quirky art works in the hotel. Short downhill walk to city. Short term parking spaces out the front of the hotel makes it so easy to check in without illegally parking. The on-site underground car-parking facility was quirky, involving driving into their lane, onto the lift that barely fits the car, (with staff assistance), descending a level then driving into any of the 6 or 7 car parks there. Great to have such free secure parking in a large city.An extra bonus: our room's flat screen TV was impressively large.”
“The hotel is very comfortable and although quite central it is up a steep hill. Not a lot close to the hotel - but at least the walk to town is downhill.”
