“The staff was very helpful as we were looking for a three hundred sixty year old painting. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the breakfast and bratwurst were both delicious.”

“If I could give 7 stars for this hotel I would with the greatest of pleasure. The owners went beyond good service and I could only describe it as real kindness. We were very late having ridden on a motorbike over two mountain passes at night, and it snowed ! We were very cold and wet. The restaurant had closed two hours before but the owners had kept us a warm meal and even upgraded our room as they wanted us to recover from a difficult ride to Astoria. The rooms are nice, the hotel is great and I would recommend it heartily to all guests and especially to bikers. I will certainly go back, perhaps to stay longer and explore the region, which is lovely. 12 out of 10 !!”
