“I came to Thessaloniki for business purposes and stayed between 2-10 November 2017 at this hotel. My opinions about the hotel are: excellent breakfast (lots of types of cheeses, olives, hot pastries and breads, jams, seasonal vegetables, fruits), quite comfortable beds, hygienic rooms/bathroom/towels and bed, big and relaxing/elegantly re-designed historical rooms with high ceiling. Free WiFi works properly. The hotel is close to the centre that you can reach most of the places (historical places, Aristotle Square, port, seaside) by walking 5-15 minutes. The nearest bus station on the main road is at 2 minutes walking distance. A small grocery is located under the hotel so you don't have to go market for ordinary needs. The hospitality and sincerity of all workers make you feel at home. Thanks to Katie, Kristina and to the others who behaved and assisted me as if I'm one of their family.”
“Nice location with a lot of top rated restaurants within walking distance. Helpful staff.”
“Good central location, but down a quiet side road made it ideal for my purposes.”
“We only had 1 night unfortunately, it this awesome city! The hotel was very easy to get to from the bus stop, which runs directly to and from the airport every half hour (look for the number 78). The hotel is in a quiet location about 15 minutes to the water front, and 10 minutes from the amphitheater. The welcome we got from the receptionist was exceptional. He was so helpful and gave us a huge list of things we could fit into our 24hrs. Good maps and leaflets. The room was pretty classy, and more than what we expected for the price we paid. Nice comfy bed and smart clean room. The windows were big and provided the room with lots of light, unfortunately the view was awful. All in all pleasant stay, great staff and comfortable room.”
“Checking in was good and staff extremely helpful with information”
“Clean, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast.”
“Only positive aspect is the property location, near downtown. Good for city break.”
“This was the 4th year we stayed at Augustos hotel when returning home. The hotel is located to the close proximity of Egnatia str. and Vardaris square. It is also 5 minutes away from the port. Breakfast is great with enough different types of food to choose from. Room no 5 was big enough for the three of us. The sofa bed was new so it was a big improvement compared to last year. The windows and balcony doors were replaced by PVC ones, so the noise from the street is almost non existing. I reported that 2 light bulbs weren't working in the room, and the stuff replaced it next day.”
“The place was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious and good value for money (only 5 euros)”
“Superb staff who were so very.very helpful. The staff booked taxis and coach for us with huge grins. Breakfast to start the morning was top motch. All facilities were clean and welcoming. Access to tourist ateas was excellent. ”
