“We had a wonderful stay at hotel balm. We got an upgrade to our room. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. You get a free bus pass for your stay. The bus stop is right infront of the hotel. Furthermore we had an incident where are car got stuck in the snow in Engelberg. We couldn’t reach any emergency numbers. We called the hotel and they stayed on the phone with us, assisted us, called the police and sent them to us. Wonderful stay and staff. The location is great! The breakfast was also great, plenty of options and great coffee our day. I would definitely recommend this establishement and am very glad we stayed here.”

“Balm is typical of Swiss hostelry regardless of the number of stars. The accommodation was very comfortable and a good size room, bed excellent and very good shower including toiletries. The best part was the view from our balcony of the lake and mountains. The breakfast was Continental, good quality and plentiful.”
