“Parking was in a secure, fenced area. The rooms were OK, the service very good and personal, the restaurant excellent, and reasonably priced.”
“Travelling by car is difficult to predict the exact arrival time. We were late (after 9 p.m.) but this was no problem - we were welcome!”
“The salt marshes are interesting & good for dog walking. There is a really nice friendly restaurant in the same block as the hotel, but separately owned. The hotel breakfast was very good. The parking is secure.”
“Nice restaurant but no vegetarian option. Buffet style breakfast. Large secure car park. 20 minutes from St Malo. Pretty village. Lots of local seafood to try, particularly oysters and mussels. Had a slightly Fawlty Towers appeal.”
“Staff was very nice. The accommodations were also very nice. The food was very good, we had dinner there once. The location was great for doing trips on the bay at low tide and getting out into the countryside. Le Mont St. Michael and St Malo are not far . We used the Hotel as a home base for exploring the region.”
“The proprietors were the best part of our stay. I can't remember their names but they ran a great restaurant and hotel. Even treated us to drinks after our meal!”
“The proprietor made us very welcome and upgraded our room (at no extra charge). The room was very comfortable. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very pleasant but could have been improved with a cheaper menu option.”
“The Restaurant was very good, good service and friendly staff”
“Excellent place for an overnight stay while on a cycle tour.”
“The two things that stick in my mind about this hotel are first, how delicious the dinner and dessert were. For a regular, somewhat dated-looking hotel, the food in their restaurant was absolutely delicious, every course! The other was the hard-working proprietor of the hotel. Although he did not speak much English, somehow everything was communicated well, and he clearly goes out of his way for his guests. Also, I rode a bicycle to the hotel and was happy to find they had an indoor place for me to put it in.”
