“Facility location and accommodations were first rate. The pictures of the outside of the property may not be the best in Zermatt but when you get into the hotel it is fantastic! Waking up in the morning to the site of the Matterhorn was memorable.The staff were extraordinary in making us feel comfortable and helping us to enjoy our visit to Zermatt. The restaurant in the basement has the best Chateaubriand we have ever had anywhere.”

“Hotel is right alonside the river, just away from the center of town. Good location. Staff is very nice and helpful. Room had a great view and was very clean. The room size was ok- bathroom is very small. Bed is comfy, but is really two twins pushed together. They easily separate if you want. Zermatt (and Switzerland overall) is VERY expensive. Room price was high, but consistent with the area.”

“Very good short-break deals at quieter times during the season. Well placed for ski-ing holiday. Ski-bus stop just outside the ski-room door. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Matterhorn view rooms are nice and quiet. Delicious main courses in the restaurant.”

“The location was nice - about a 10 minute walk from the train station but still close enough, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, the main drag is close but not too close. We weren't skiing, but it is also on the way to one of the lift stations and there is a bus stop nearby that goes right to the lift. The view from the room with a Matterhorn view is incredible. We also used the spa facilities which were nice - steam bath, sauna, relaxation area. We ate dinner at the attached restaurant which was great for meats, portions were gigantic! We got a lift back to the station in the electric cart which was helpful (I am sure we could have gotten picked up as well from the train station but we chose to walk).”
