“This little hotel is located at the gate of the Banneaux shrine. You can't get closer, unless you sleep in the guesthouse for the sick, inside the shrine. Apparently it was owned & run by the Baneaux visionary, Mariette Beco. It's basic, clean, comfortable & warm, with friendly service.”
“Nous avons reçu un bon accueil. La chambre est simple, basique, bien propre et agréable. Cet hotel est accueillant. L'hotel était trés calme et le patron disponible, serviable. Il réside dans cet endroit de la paix , et une chaleur humaine. Il y a une bibliothèque à disposition, avec des livres trés variés pour tous les goûts prés du petit salon. Tout est simple, sans prétention , et honnête. J'ai été surprise de découvrir la dimension religieuse de la ville de Banneux, qui est en Belgique l'équivalent de "Lourdes en France" comme nous l'a expliqué le patron : la Vierge Marie est apparue huit fois a une fillette de 11 ans, Mariette Béco. Béco, le nom de l'hotel ! Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est trés riche, il y a de tout : petits pains aux chocolats, brioches, pains, oeufs, charcuterie, jus fruits divers, multiples confitures etc.....”
