“We were at the back of the hotel and therefore away from the main road so very quiet. Staff were friendly, beds were comfy and the self service buffet breakfast was lovely.”
“Location Good size rooms WiFi Nice Breakfast Helpful Staff”
“We were in the new part of the hotel. In a room at the back. Very quiet. Beds were very comfortable ”
“Excellent breakfast. Superb restaurant at hotel serving good and reasonably priced meals so we did not have to go out to seek them. In future we would prefer a room on the level as there is no lift. It would have been an extra bonus had there been a safe in the room.”
“Good hotel now maybe a little dated. Reception staff not very welcoming but bar and dining room staff were lovely. Room a little basic, no safe, no hotel information folder and although the towels were clean they were well-worn. Excellent wifi and good location for direct S bahn to Hamburg. Breakfast was good and the restaurant offers a good and well-priced menu. Food was excellent for dinner. Parking was free and plentiful either in the underground garage or in the grounds. Great walk from the hotel to the Treppen Viertal where you can walk along the beach and watch the enormous container ships en route to Hamburg port. For a city hotel this was quite acceptable.”
“Breakfast was excellent and was happy that there was a television and wifi. Transportation was available nearby.”
“A convenient stopover out of the city centre. Good food.”
“The only saving grace in hotel was Charlie. She assisted us with luggage (and we had several bags because we were on an extended vacation) especially when we changed our room on arrival. Nothing was too much for her. Frankly she saved face for the hotel the entire time. We are always forward with tips, and I did give the pair in the restaurant a small token, but more would have been forthcoming if......Housekeeping received nothing.”
“This was a very nice hotel at a decent price during the busy harbour festival. Underground parking was free and breakfast was good.”
“God morgenmad, sengen var god, men hovedpuden var alt for stor.”
