“Staff at breakfast were so welcoming and helpful. They responded to me when I spoke to them in terrible Italian but made me feel good for trying. It was lovely to be welcome like an old friend each morning when I went down. The room was functional but nothing extra special although it was incredibly clean and was turned down each morning so that I came back to fresh towels and a crisp bed spread. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely stay again.”

“The superior room was very good and quiet, at the back of the hotel with a great view of the lake and the mountains. We also had a balcony. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection. The location was exceptional a few meters from the lake. Also many really good restaurants close by. Including the restaurant in the hotel. Every meal we had was of very high standard.”

“Staying on the edge of the lake was a true delight...some of our rooms had lake views and flow-through window ventilation; all rooms were air conditioned. Sitting dockside for afternoon beers or aperol spritz was a great wind-down to our activity filled days. Bonus was the dedicated bike storage room for a bicycles, and a water hose nearby for washing road grime off after a thunderstorm. Lots of humor shared with the serving staff and reception too. Truly a fun time was enjoyed by our entire group. One night the kitchen even arranged to prepare a gluten free pasta plate for two of our friends...much appreciated.”
