“Nice old Bavarian house set on the banks of a small lake with lots of birdlife and animals. Dinner was really tasty with generous portions. Hosts were lovely and set up a lovely night in the hot tub after dinner on our 1st night - hot tub is awesome! The basement has been converted into a small museum of the family history - some interesting things in there.”
“An old german colonist house turned into an elegant and cozy hotel with a beautiful garden overseeing the wetlands. The rooms are very confortable and warm. The private bathrooms are modern and spacious. Breakfast is buffet style and everything is prepared at the hotel (bread, cakes, jam, etc). The staff is very friendly and will solve any issues you may have immediately. We had dinner several times at the hotel (not included with the reservation) and the dishes were top quality. The menu has few options but you can ask for custom preparations. You have the option of renting bikes or a car to explore Frutillar and Puerto Varas. We felt very well treated and you can see that they care for every detail. In summary, a most pleasant experience. Almost forgot, hot tub under the stars was amazing.”
“We had excellent treatment from the management staff, every day. Special arrangements were made for a skype job interview that came up during our brief stay. The food - breakfast and dinner - was delicious - managemt and staff are justifiably proud of the kuchen. Llanique is a suprising, sleepy but still lovely little town, with a very interesting history. It was an easy drive to Puerto Varas, where there is more high end shopping and food. Decor of Casa Werner is as charming as can be.”
“Wonderful place to stay. Staff were so welcoming and kind. This really is a top notch boutique hotel with its own mini lake set near to (1km) the larger more scenic lake that is more re known. You do need transport to get there but car hire is easy and useful to explore this lovely district anyway or you can get a taxi. Loved the quality of breakfast and hot tub in particular although that was extra. The dinner menu is also excellent and good value - I would definitely recommend eating on site. Nearby restaurants could not match value and quality of this.”
