“The architecture and decoration is beautiful. It's like traveling back in time. The staff are all very proud of the place and are always eager to help and attend all your needs. Our favorite person has Maria Teresa, one of the receptionist. She is awesome! Always smiling and super helpful. We stayed in the junior suit, It's shower and jacuzzi was delicious. The bed was so comfortable we din't leave at all for a day, just to enjoy that mattress!”

“The main communal area around the pool was very pretty. The pool was very small and more ornamental but worked well as a 'dip pool' to cool down in (note- there is only space for 2 sunbeds around it). The location was good for us, as the heart of the town (Santa Marta's main bars & restaurants area) is only a couple of streets away (5 mins walk). The area immediately surrounding the hotel is residential & well-lit at night, seemed very safe , plenty of locals and families walking around day and night. The staff were very friendly. However, I would hesitate to use this hotel again, as, for these prices I expect a relaxing and tranquil 'boutique hotel experience' and to be treated as a valued and special guest.”
