“We always return to Hotel Calypso because it feels like home away from home and are always greeted with a warm welcome.. Our room was excellent with a balcony & quiet. Bathroom was a generous size and great hot shower. It is spotlessly clean & they serve a good breakfast . We are in our mid-sixties and find it convenient to the train station - easy walking to and from. Hotel Calypso is Art Deco in design. We certainly recommend it and it is our choice of hotel when we go to Ventimiglia.”

“Great welcome from our friendly, helpful receptionist. Spotlessly clean, well kept room and general areas of the hotel. The room was large enough to accommodate our large (42kg) dog with us. Bed comfy, airconditioning was very efficient. Breakfast was pleasant and there was plenty of choice. Would recommend paying extra for an ensuite room and airconditioning if you are travelling in high summer.”

“The staff was truly delightful.... The housekeeping staff were so nice as I was ill for a day or two and quickly cleaned room so I could go back to sleep. The ladies and gentlemen who were present in am were very accommodating nod helpful, typical European breakfast was served buffet Style... Coffee drinks were brought when ordered. In the afternoon, Frans manned the front desk and would give tips and make reservations for dinner for you ...They have a small bar and are happy to make you drinks when desired. After 8 pm and thru night Maria manned the desk she was also helpful and was a bright face to say buona notte!Keys are given to desk when you leave and hang on a hook across from check in... Quaint albergo with helpful,delightful staff.”
