“Good value clean and comfortable. I think we paid around 37 euros for room only. Don't know whether there was a breakfast option but the front street level was a cafe bar that sold cakes and pastries. We purchased coffees and croissant for breakfast very cheaply. There was another room below from which there was lots of chattering on the Sunday morning so may be it was a restaurant. Seemed to be used by the locals. Unquera was a nice little town with a couple of restaurants and coffee bars. Its a good stop over if, like us, you arrive in Santander in the evening and are heading off into the Picos de Europa (outstandingly beautiful- don't tell everyone!) the following day. It's about 45 minutes from Santander. We ate at a little coffee bar over the road in the evening- great pizzas and huge pasta portions.”
