“Hotel Careggi was a fantastic little spot just outside the city center. Rooms were simple, but had strong AC, hot showers and a fantastic morning breakfast. There was also a solid restaurant downstairs that was open late. Something just felt at home about the place, and I loved being there. There is a bus directly across the street which takes you into central Florence in less than 10 minutes, otherwise I never waited more than 5 minutes when the front desk called a taxi for me. Highly recommended! ”
