“A little off the beaten track but wow!!. The owner is the most accommodating person you could wish for. Even carried the heaviest suitcase of our party up two flights of stairs. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacey, and the bathroom doesn't disappoint either. There are a row of tables and chairs outside the front next to the cobbled street and his son runs the bar and bistro which is attached to the hotel and this is open very late if you want to catch a drink before turning in for the night. The breakfast is also top notch and the lady who arranges the food will cook you boiled eggs to the exact time you require. Family run and it shows because nothing is too much trouble. I we ever come back to Canobbio, without a doubt we will book here again”
“This must be the best 3 star hotel in the world? We were very satisfied with everything. A possible drawback is that the hotel is so nice so you don't want to leave and see the city! Lovely to spend some time at the balcony. The breakfast was very, very good. Nice rooms with much personality in it. We love to come back”

“Loved the property, old and beautifully refurbished. We had small balcony looking over garden and views, walk-in wardrobe, everything we needed. There was kitchenette which we didn't use. Very good breakfast, staff attentive and kind. Cannobio is a lovely old place, with great restaurants, walking along the riverside, pretty promenade. Plenty of public transport by bus or boat.”
