The town of Cathlamet is small and charming.”

“Driving to Cathlamet from OR required a ride on a small ferry and a short ride across the small island. The "downtown" Cathlamet hotel was on their Main Street. There were a few restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. The hotel was magical. My room was well appointed and clean. The dining room had a decent selection of breakfast items. There were at least 7 different types of bread with as many spreads. Fresh juices, yogurts and multiple choices of cereals. Loved the Keurig coffees plus half and half. There was an adjacent room which served as lounge and library. The main lobby on the second floor of the building, had a few seating areas. Also nice we're the outdoor seating areas. Very nice hosts as well.”
