“Well, as a pilgrim, it was on my way. I felt very wellcomed and even as a vegan, everybody did everything to serve me a wonderfull dinner. Friendly staff, very clean!”
“Beds were comfortable and the food was delicious in the restaurant”
“The Hotel is just off the Camino and so very handy. The bar...restaurant were closed so one had to go out and find something but Padron is a nice place. The lift stops only 1/2 way up per floor so you still need to walk with you bags up stairs. I found this very hard as I was suffering from a knee injury and over packed. There is nobody around to help so you are on your own. Wifi was iffy but still worked when the signal wasn't dropped. Nice people working the desk.....I would stay again.”
“Location is slightly off the camino from the Municipal market, making it fairly easy to find. It's has a self service laundromat with clean and easy to operate machines right across the street, making it very easy to do laundry. It's on a quiet side street so there is no street noise. It can arrange for pack shipping at a reasonable rate. The procedure is easy and convenient. Staff is helpful, even e-mailing me before arrival on Sunday to warn me when the market will close for the day. At the Sunday street market around the municipal market you can buy almost anything, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, roast meats, and freshly caught and cooked octopus. Room is comfortable and a good size. The supermarket is farther off on the highway but still within walkable distance.”
“The bed big and comfortable plenty of hot water for bath after long day on Camino also very close to camino”
“This accommodation is very much geared for those walking the Camino. There is a launderette owned by the accommodation directly across the road, very useful for the Peregrinos. A bar and restaurant are on the ground floor. The accommodation "ticked the boxes" for the pilgrim. It is close enough to supermercado and is close enough to the route. Also , one can stroll along the riverside in the town and do some sightseeing in the afternoon or if one wishes, do some people gazing near the Mercado while enjoying a cold beverage sitting outside the Taverna. The food in Chef Rivera was reasonable in quality and price. Recommended for the Camino walker!”
“Comfortable rooms, very clean modern bathroom, great after days walking. Nice small outside seating area, although we did get a friendly telling off by the receptionist for being too noisy! At 5pm! And we are Irish. There is a coin operated laundry directly opposite hotel which was very welcome at this stage on our camino. All the laundry done while we had a glass of wine - or two!”
“The room was quiet. The food at the restaurant is spectacular!! My friend ordered paella and it was wonderful! The staff is very helpful and kind.”
“The lady in charge of the reception was very friendly and speaks several languages. Ideal location if you're walking the Camino Portugues. Plus, the food is excellent.”
“This was a fabulous and inexpensive hotel along the Camino and near many sites, restaurants, and a laundromat. Our room was very clean and comfortable.”
