“Friendly and efficient, no time wasting. The language barrier proved to be no problem. Great value lovely place just off the beaten track, secure and felt safe for my van and trailer. Lovely sleepy Spanish village, bar and restaurant was friendly and about 40 metre walk from hotel.”

“This is just great for exploring Ciudad Rodrigo. Right inside the old city and within easy walking distance of all the historic attractions. It is just lovely to stay there. Clean, comfortable and with helpful staff. We got a great deal too. As we arrived on Saturday afternoon, parking till Monday only cost €1.20 at the blue meter. ”

“Extra comfy bed. Bathroom towels of top quality. Nice restaurant with street dining. Bar opens until late. The location of the hotel is within city walls and a stone throw away from the cathedral. It's located in a square with a garden in the middle of it.”
“We are a "mature" couple apparently! & found hotel well located within historic, walled city. As has been said in other reviews, walls are pretty thin and loud conversation, children etc. can be heard in next room - out of 11 night stay, this only affected us twice and we chose to stay in a typical, historic building deliberately. Front desk staff wonderful; breakfast food & coffee very good. Really enjoyed our long stay. Little English spoken, which is great, as this is REAL SPAIN. Learn a few words/sentences to soak up & respect the culture. Brilliant holiday there.”
“Pleasant small hotel located in a nice square in the centre of this interesting old town. Left the car overnight in the square, which seemed ok. Our room was a decent size and looked out onto the square and was mercifully quiet, although it was a Sunday night and the hotel wasn't full. We would stay there again.”
