- This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. <br> <br>Please note that the cancellation policy varies according to the season. <br>On low season (April 16 to September 15), no fee is charged if the reservation is cancelled 2 days before arrival. <br>On high season (September 15 to April 15th), no fee is charged for cancellations 22 days prior to arrival. If cancelled 8 to 21 days before arrival, 50% of the reservation is charged. If cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of the reservation is charged. <br><br>LOCAL TAX LAW.<br>Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%<br>To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).<br>This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
