“It was a good experience overall; nothing exciting though. The staff were helpful (sometimes smiling) and the breakfast ladies were very good and worked hard to keep everyone happy. The location is very good - a short walk to Spanish Steps (actually built by the French, so too the church at the top of the steps) and a short walk to the Vatican and some good out-of-the-tourist-trap-way cafes and restaurants around St John the Baptist Basilica. There are similar options at around half the price but these are more than 3-5km out of the city; the location of this hotel is very good....handy to just about everything, safe, quiet, not in a tourist trap area and away from crowds. I would consider it again for next time, but I would probably spend just a little more and stay at a better option.”
