“Huoneessa oli parveke ja näkymä upeille Dolomiiteille ja alas syvälle laaksoon. Aamiainen oli täydellinen ml joka päivä tuoreista hedelmistä, vihanneksista ja yrteistä puristettu juoma. Hotellista pääsi lukemattomille ja hyvin merkityille vaellusreiteille, jotka olivat helppoja, ei suuria korkeuseroja 1100 - 2100 m korkeudella. Lähellä oli vuoristojunan, 110 v vanha, pääteasema. Juna vei asemalle, josta pääsi upealla köysiradalla alas Bolzanon kaupunkiin. Kaikki juna, bussi ja köysiratamatkat kuuluivat huoneen hintaan.”
