“A lovely hotel in a very handy location with very helpful and friendly management. The good things: 5 minutes walk from main station so very handy for airport bus, U-bahn and trains; 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz; two really good restaurants within 2 minutes' walk, recommended by hotel - Steffans next door and a Bavarian one on Adolf Kolping strasse - and Bohne & Malz am Stachus just across Sonnenstrasse. (The latter open on a Sunday whilst the other two were not.) Hotel rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable mattresses (some of the best I've come across in any hotel), radiator in the room set just right (for winter), windows were double glazed, nights were quiet, shower was powerful and hot, breakfasts were plentiful, television worked and wi-fi connection was pretty good. Very good value for money. Would certainly stay again.”
