“It is among the most quiet locations, in the heart of the really unique and truly vintage Engiadina old part of Scuol. A must-see! Check the books of Carigiet, "The bell of Ursli" (Schellenursli), in English available at the local small but fantastic bookstore. You will find the door on the cover just around the corner! Staff: Susi (only there in summer, in winter, you will find her on the slope, skiteacher!). She is an original, you will like her! Last but not least: the whole hotel is decorated and furnished with Arve-wood (Arvenholz). This is a unique, extremely good smelling wood of the region. It alone is worth half the price!”
“Even before you enter the hotel, you can already feel that you will have a good time: the architecture of the building is a wonder in and of itself, very characteristic of the traditional houses of the region. The receptionist, Rosa, was friendly and accommodating and helped us reserve both a table at the hotel's restaurant (their 'pizokels' were delicious, by the way) and the Bogn Engiadina baths. The room was very up to standards: comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean. If you want to immerse yourself in the Engadine experience, you won't go wrong by staying here.”
