“A clean and spacious room. Sauna facilities on site. A 24/7 accessible tea/coffee machine. Kind and helpful staff. Good restaurant variety in walking distance. Amazing view in the morning. Compared to a regular hotel breakfast in Germany, this is somewhat better (however some vegetables would be welcomed).”
“The place is really suitable for both hot and cold seasons. Very convenient transport, near the bus, next to the train. All rooms have balconies looking to the mountains. The town is small, but there are not one and not two restaurants. Everything was fine.”
“Grainau is a quiet small town near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There is a well-functioning train and bus traffic between cities. So you don't necessarily need your own car. The most important attraction is of course Zugspitze. You can easily reach Zugspitze from Grainau by train. The hotel is well located in the center of Grainau. WiFi is OK and there is plenty of room for parking.”
