“We arrived a day later and the exceptionally friendly owner of Jakober gave us a larger room to accommodate for (our self-imposed) inconvenience. She didn't have to do that, but thanks so much! The room was very clean and big, esp. compared with similar properties in the area and the ever-friendly host helped us a lot with finding nice restaurants around the area. Tux is a small town, but for skiing it has all the amenities you'd wish for. The ski-lift is about 5 min walk and the hotel has a very fine sauna free to use! If you want to get away from the frenzy of Mayrhofen, this village and this hotel in particular are excellent alternatives :).”
