“The beds were comfortable and the room clean with a wonderful view, but most of all, the staff were helpful, the Manager waiting for us until we arrived late from the airport although this was past official closing time - this was very considerate of her. She had also kindly phoned me a few days before to warn me of the problem.”

Location is close to everything, including the train station, but is up a steep hill for walking ( not a problem unless mobility is an issue).”

“Gotta hike up a hill, but it's nice and close to the train station - without the train noise! Locarno/Muralto/Ascona and the surrounding area is just unbelievable! Breakfast was pretty typical of the Swiss hotels we stayed in during our trip. Cold, but delicious! Automatic espresso machine to make whatever your heart desires!”
