“This hotel is a family run small boutique hotel located in the absolute center of Vail activities. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. The owners of the hotel were onsite welcoming guests. We had the privilege of meeting Pepi and Sheika Gramshammer and both are delightful folks - Pepi is still going strong in his mid-80s.”

“The location can't be beat. The history behind the hotel made our stay seem extra special. We had a very comfortable room at the corner of the hotel so we could see the mountain from one side of the room and the fountain from the other side. We ran the portable floor fan to drown out any sounds from outside or other rooms. We liked the unique feel of the hotel. This is not a cookie-cutter hotel. A short walk to the public Vail Village parking structure. Free parking in the summer. Enjoyed the front desk receptionist who was originally from Brazil and meeting Mrs. Gramshammer.”
