“Perfect location close to National Park. The room was perfect. All the staff were delightful and made us very welcome. Very high quality home cooked Sri Lankan food with generous portions. Our trip to the National Park was memorable due to our guide Guney who works with Gayan. He had a vast knowledge of the park and the animals and couldn't have been better. All in all we highly recommend this hotel.”

“The hotel is next to the entrance of the Uda Walawe National park, so we didn't have to wake up a crazy hours to do the safari at 6am. The guesthouse has 2 rooms only and they can easily prepare you dinner and breakfast, also because there are no alternatives at walking distance.”

“Gayan was an a amazing host. Literally 1 minute drive from Udawalawe park gate. Sorted safari on Gayans own jeep with his regular guide. Safari was excellent. Gayan was good at communicating by email and helped us sort a taxi from Haputale to Uda, and then onto Unawatuna beach resort. All in all, a great place and would recommend. There is some building work, but gayan is doing this to make extra rooms/pool which will be incredible. If I come back to Uda, I will stay here.”

“1 minute from the entrance to the Udawalawe National Park! Nice new clean room. Hotel consists of only 2 rooms at this stage but more are under construction. No construction noice while we were there.”
