“The room was comfortable and well equipped. The communal areas were clean and very well presented. It looked as though the place had recently been refurbished, if not, it is kept very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and it was the quickest and easiest check in we've ever had. Someone came and knocked on the door to tell us the Northern lights were active, even though we hadn't specifically asked for this. The dining area is well layed out and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent, with a range or fresh hot food and cold options. The dinner isn't, cheap, but no food is in Iceland. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here, and the remote location is excellent for seeing the Northern lights, and reaching natural sites close by”
