“Ariel was a wonderful and helpful host. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was very nice every morning. Make sure you try their traditional soup of the region for breakfast, it is delicious! The hotel itself is beautifully restored, we loved the outdoor showers in our suite. It was very quiet and tranquil there and the bed was super comfortable. Wifi works really well! It is about a half hour walk to town, but it is a nice walk with not much traffic. You can also take a taxi to town for about $2.00. The staff is very nice, but they do not speak English, so make sure to bring a translation app. We found they did not speak much English in most places we visited in Colombia, so we got used to it. We do speak a little Spanish.”
