“I was looking for a budget hotel close to the railway station and to the centre. I booked this hotel and it was perfect for my purposes. It is 3-5 minutes walk from the railway station and 5-10 minutes walk to the centre (5 minutes to the castle, 10 minutes to the cathedral). The hotel is located in a crossroad but it is not noisy there. I had a lovely double room with a balcony overlooking the crossing. The room was clean and comfortable, I had all I needed. Wifi worked well, with some minor cuts. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the walking distance. I did not take breakfast at the hotel but just grabbed a croissant and a small coffee in the cafeteria close to the railway station (for less than 3 euros). The staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay there again if back to Angers (which is, by the way, a nice town with the castle, the cathedral, the collégiale and several interesting museums).”
