Our bedroom was located in the tower so very unusual setting but wonderful (the windows were medieval "meurtrières") charming. Would book again the same bedroom. Great bathroom as well.”

“This small hotel was a great. find, as we travelled through the area. Our room was amazing! It was called the tower room and had very thick walls, formed in a semi circle. The windows had been gun slits and the furnishings were in complete keeping with the building. The restaurant was fairly formal but the food and wine was excellent. The staff were very attentive and coped with our lack of fluent French! The town of Besle itself is very ancient and very picturesque, lovely to stroll around, after dinner.”
