“It's a traditional old hotel building but the facilities are pretty modern and the hotel is very clean. The hotel itself and the area around it are quiet. Breakfast is outside in the garden, which is a really nice way to start the day. Staff were very helpful with small requests. The beach is only a few minutes from the hotel. To get to the city it's a 10-minute walk to the ferry and then a short boat ride. That suited me because I enjoyed the laid back, relaxed atmosphere of the Lido. But if you want to be in the thick of things this might not be for you.”
