“Hotel M is a good midrange place to stay in Chiang Mai...we've stayed before, and it has always been a good base . The hotel is well run and the staff 'on the ball '...we had no noise problems as we did in Bangkok .Breakfast is a buffet affair ,rather towards eastern tastes ,tho' we enjoyed it . The rooms are quite large and have nice views of the city .”
“The location is excellent, it is located just a very steps away from The Phae Gate. It is very close to the ever popular Sunday Walking Street Market. Most of the attractions in the old city are within walking distance. and very friendly front desk staff.”
“Great location. Part of the old town, inside the city moat. Right at the start of the Sunday walking street. 15 minute walk from main night markets.Tuktuks always available outside.”
“I would like to send my sincere thanks to K. Tan the Manager who has a lovely mindset. Warm Regards Rattiya Chanloy Sutthaluck”
“Excellent location, especially for Songkran celebration. Regardless of whether you're specifically there for Songkran, it's still in an ideal location: for walking, bike riding, public transportation, nearby food, pubs, massage, street market, pharmacy...you name it. Staff spoke passable English. Housekeeping staff is excellent. Plenty of hot water in shower/bath.”
“Good sized room, generally quiet through the night. Comfortable and clean bed. Great location next to walking street market.”
“Location was very good. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and room/bathroom were very clean. A/C was perfect.”
“For me, the location was just right-next to the Sunday Walking Street and close to many restaurants and spas. I particularly liked the free shuttle to the Central Festival (took it twice) and the airport. Easy to grab other transport just outside the door or just walk. The housekeeping ladies were very efficient and thorough with cleaning my room. The room and hallway were very quiet. I had noise from outside on two nights of eight-the first Sunday when there was loud music coming from the other side of Thapae Gate which stopped at 11 and the second was at 1:45 Wednesday morning when it seemed the tuk-tuks were having races along both sides of the moat. Nothing caused by hotel guests or nearby establishments. The Wifi worked fairly well although there were a couple of times I had to reconnect after being off for a while. It is necessary to reconnect after leaving the hotel but the password does not change.”
“Location is OK, if you want to be close enough by foot to all main touristic attractions in the city.”
“Central Location and considering its position near the ring road and Sunday Market, didn't hear a thing, very quiet overnight.”
