“Andrea. She makes this place. I also have to say that they did stop the banging work on the roof in late afternoon when I told them I needed to get some rest.”

“Breakfast started with an extra large bowl of great fresh fruit. Coffee was wonderful with hot milk. We were able to walk to the airport (about 15 minutes walking), but later took a taxi because it only cost $2. The young woman at the front desk speaks excellent English. She was very helpful and keen to tell us where to find the Blue Booby birds at the waterfront (which is only two blocks away) and other sights in town. At the office, you can also rent snorkel equipment for a very reasonable fee.”

“The staff was very nice. We had a noisy neighbors next to our room who didn't respect other guests and the next day a member of the staff apologized to us personally. In general the place is very neat, breakfast is ok. ”

“Great value, wonderful staff, coffee and tea all day. Pretty little garden and flowers, great location, warm shower with good water pressure. Arranged for a tour of Isla Espanola before I arrived, which was a way better deal than what I'd found online. They made breakfast early for us when we had the early tour.”

“Excellent value, I only needed a bed to sleep - as you don't want to spend time in a hotel when there is so much to explore. Reception also acts as a tour booking agency, but seemed to only be open around 8am - 4/5pm - so if you're out all day you might not be able to ask them questions. But they were very helpful. Quiet location. Free drinking water. Didn't need anything more.”

“The owners were very helpful and nice. We asked if they could arrange taxi service for us for the next day back to Santa Cruz since we had a lot of luggage. La abuela woke up early at 6:00 a.m. and was in the lobby waiting w/us for the arrival of the taxi she called for us the day of our departure. This was more than what we could have asked from her and we appreciated this customer service very much. This hotel is located w/in easy walking distance to the main street and pier (w/out any luggage to tow). The rooms were nice and comfortable and had a fan and A/C. They have a large dining area for breakfast and/or to sit and eat your take away food from the local restaurants.”

“Very helpful friendly staff. Lovely breakfast available. Trips & hire of snorkel gear can all be done at reception. Drinking water available to help yourself to. Wifi in hotel rooms. Easily walkable down to sea front/ harbour and all restaurants and shops. 5 mins from airport ($2 in taxi) Rooms very comfy with ensuite bathroom and hot water. All in all the perfect mix price range hotel on San Cristobal and I would definitely stay there again.”
