“I can recommend this hotel, it's very nice and charming. The hotel is set in a quiet residential neighborhood and renovated in style. A most excellent breakfast with great coffee and freshly prepared eggs and tomatoes in olive oil, prepared by Bea (the owner) who's very caring and gives a personal touch to your stay. The room was comfortable and we stayed here for 7 days. We had an excellent holiday”
“Gorgeous property with lots of character and a lovely breakfast we ate outside in the small garden by the pool. Staff very friendly and helpful who just wanted to make our stay as comfortable, fun and enjoyable as possible. Easy walk to attractive town square for very good meals and drinks. However, for us, the hire car came into its own as it is a great location for access to the region (no queuing to get out of the town onto the main highways) - we visited the water park at Lloret de Mar, Barcelona, Begur, lovely beaches, the amazing coastal walk which gives you access to 'hidden coves', the sublime Botanical gardens at Cap Roig .... and could have done so much more. We will return to do the Wine and Cork Tour, visit Girona and the aforementioned 'so much more'!”
“just the most excellent Calalan Breakfast with freshly prepared eggs and local produce including tomatoes in olive oil and seasoning/locally fresh baked bread/dried and aged meats/cheeses/preserves/muffins and croissants and excellent fresh pod coffee. Quite a beautiful restored farmhouse with modern touches and run by caring and helpful Beatrice and her family and staff. I cannot reccomend this hotel enough, it made an excellent holiday perfect!”
“This is a charming little bed and breakfast run lovingly by a family. It is a personal, intimate experience. Beatrice is a terrific hostess, she is very friendly, takes great care of her guests full of superb suggestions on where to go what to do. The property is set in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of Calonge high street. It's renovated with great care to retain the old stone walls in colonial style with brick walls and lovely dark wood furniture. Food is wonderful, all locally sourced. The room is comfortable and the we slept very soundly.”
