“Very friendly and welcoming staff, a delightful atmosphere in a family run hotel. Unbelievable view both up and down the lake, Bellano is an old and charming small town not overrun with tourism, nice atmosphere, authentic, good for swimming and sports. 5 minutes from Varenna the prettiest town on the lake (but not so good for swimming). The best side of the lake for access without traffic jams (v little traffic because of the auto strada) and train. The hotel is right on the lake with a glorious sunrise on the mountains opposite. The sunsets towards the hotel so you get the last of the warmth in the evening.”
“The owner Piera and Donata are very Informative and kind, Ms.Piera arranged all my sightseeing schedules and Ms. Donata drove me to the train station when I had to catch an early train. Chef Giovanni noticed I don’t eat meat, he specially cooked the delicious seafood for me daily. On my birthday Ms. Piera surprised me with gift and champagne and card. I am very touched by the exceptional service from Piera, Donata, Giovanni! I see they treat all their guests like family. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel with beautiful view to everyone visiting Lake Cuomo Region, easy excess to all the towns.”

“Perfect location right on the lake. Very tranquil area yet a quick walk to the ferry station and you can go anywhere/to any town around Como. From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming and so helpful. I do not eat meat and the chef created a dinner just for me. Food was excellent. Breakfast was great. We will go back!”
