“We only stayed one night but the Minerva is a good standard hotel. The hotel is just inside the old city wall of Siena so within easy reach of the sights of Siena.The room we had was large enough. It had an outside terrace with a stunning view of Siena.The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom large with a really good shower.In the room was a coffee maker with capsules but no kettle to make a cup of tea.Something I couldn’t understand.No real cups were provided only foam and plastic cups.Breakfast was very good with a good selection.”

While the hotel lacks the charm of a smaller boutique hotel, the accomodations are spacious, bright and clean and the location is ideal. It is an easy walk to Il Campo and all of the churches/museums/sites in Siena. It's also a short walk to the bus and train stations.”
