“Luxurious ambience. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom, common areas delightful, and proximity to everything the old city has to offer.”
“Stunning, luxurious family hotel in the Roman walled old town. The hotel has all the expected modern amenities but with the added bonus that all common areas are decorated with classic artwork and well chosen collectables. The staff are super friendly and helpful and well versed in English (great for us). Breakfast was perfect. The Roman wall completely encircles the old town. There is a 2.2Km walk (or jog) along the top. Within the walls are restaurants, shops, markets, plazas and a wonderful cathedral. Loved it.”
“superbly comfy bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel, like aladin's cave full of interesting artifacts.”
“A beautiful balance between the historic and state of the art stylishness. Our upgraded room was wonderful- it was extremely roomy and comfortable but the icing on the cake was the bathroom; it could have come out of a design magazine. The female staff was lively and very friendly, not to mention helpful. In addition, the location just inside the Roman walls could not have been better. All in all, a lovely hotel.”
“The Pazo was just off the busy areas of Lugo but within an easy walk to everything in the city and next to the city walls which you are able to walk on. Our room was very spacious with the largest bed ever and the bathroom had the largest bath ever. The hotel bar is full of interesting and ancient objects and well worth a visit. The staff were delightful and we were told that the tapas bars on the street above the hotel, during the period we were there, were having a competition and tapas was given virtually free with the drinks.”
“Room was magnificent and the staff was incredibly helpful.”
“The hotel exceeded our expectations. It's very nicely decorated, with quirky, boutique features. The bathroom and shower were brilliant. We had originally booked the cheapest room and were advised that because each room shape was unique, our particular room had a regular double bed, therefore small by hotel standards. We were happy to take that room but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a room with super king as they had the availability. The breakfast was a nice selection and beautifully presented. The parking was a bonus. It's tricky to find other parking within the muralla.”
“Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Interesting hotel.”
“One of few hotels with its own parking inside the muralla. 3 minute walk from the center where a lot of good restaurants and bars are located. ”
“Quirky hotel - really peaceful hideaway - spotlessly clean - very quiet part of town - right on the Camino if that's what you're there for.”
